Privacy policy

WholesalePro ("the App") is provided by The Canary Web. This summary explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled. A merchant can request full details at any time.

What we access

• read_customers — customer tags, to target discount rules to customer groups.
• read_orders, read_products — context for discount logic.
• read_discounts / write_discounts — to create and manage the automatic discounts that power your rules.

We never request payment, banking, or government-ID data.

What we store

Your discount rules and the authentication tokens needed to call the Shopify Admin API on your behalf, scoped to your store. Rule configuration is also written to app-owned metafields on the discount, where the Shopify Function reads it at checkout.

Retention & deletion

Data is retained while the App is installed. We honor Shopify's GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) and delete store data on uninstall.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run the service (Shopify and our hosting provider).
